Redevelopment of commercial site including Chick-fil-A, Dunkin Donuts, Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt, and Sit-Down Restaurant. Preparation of landscape plans in accordance with newly adopted City of Flagstaff zoning code, and construction documents, coordinating with Smith Architects and Mogollon Engineering. Landscaping includes Milton and Riordan street fronts, parking lot, and buildings.

  • Flagstaff Senior Meadows site landscaping

Landscape plan for senior living facility on 7.5 acre McMillan Mesa site, working with Morning Dew Landscaping, Smith Architects, and Mogollon Engineering. Plantings included street front landscaping along Pine Cliff Drive, Community Center landscaping, and private roadway, parking and building landscaping with predominantly native, xeriscape pallette.

  • Lakewood Village II Homeowner’s Association xeriscape design concept study

Alternative xeriscape concept plan development including plant palette and design theme options. Schematic design plans were then developed for key site areas, with accompanying preliminary construction cost estimates for demolition, accent boulders, retaining walls, native meadow areas, river rock drainageways, and plantings.

  • Calvary Bible Church site landscaping

Site landscape design for peripheral buffer areas, detention basin, parking lot and new building area in Happy Jack, Arizona, in accordance with Coconino County requirements. Provided planting and irrigation plans.

  • Covenant Church new site landscaping

Provided site landscape design for redeveloped church site in Sunnyside Neighborhood, in accordance with Flagstaff City requirements and using design-build approach with Warner’s Landscape Company. Parking lot layout to save large Ponderosa Pines on site.

  • National Bank of Arizona new site landscaping

Planting design for remodeled bank facility in downtown Flagstaff, including street frontages along Leroux, Birch and Beaver. Design included boulder settings, perennials, ornamental grasses, street trees and shrubs. Design and construction coordination with Morning Dew Landscaping and Mittelstaedt Cooper & Associates.

  • U.S.G.S. conceptual landscape studies

Landscape architectural services for preliminary design options and final design of landscape with “river wall” theme, working with Morning Dew Landscaping, Inc. Design included berming with boulder settings and native buffer plantings, native grasses including Little Bluestem and wildflower drifts, drystack stone walls with built-in benches, walkways, crushed stone sitting areas with picnic tables, ramada and recreational grassed area.

  • Woodcrest Apartments site entries and streetscaping

Landscape Architect for 200 unit property with renovations including new signage, plantings, drainage and berming along Woodlands Village Boulevard and Forest Meadows Street. Provided preliminary and final construction documents, and construction coordination with Morning Dew Landscaping.

  • Timberline¬†Village Apartments new site entrance

Design for street plantings and site entrance including retaining walls, small lawn areas, annual plantings, shrubs and trees, working with Morning Dew Landscaping.

  • The Arbors Clubhouse new streetfront and common area landscape design

Landscape Architect and construction coordination with Morning Dew Landscaping, Will Bruder Architects, and Taylor Construction Management Group. Conceptual design and final construction documents for raised, terraced patio with stone planters and landscape lighting, and naturalistic plantings with boulder settings.

  • Forest Ridge Apartments site landscaping renovations

Conceptual and final landscape architectural plans for site renovation of 20+ acre apartment complex, using native and xeriscape palette. Focus areas included office, common area, street frontage, duplex and apartment entries.

Site planting design using very low water shrubs, trees and native grass revegetation for buffer, building and parking areas, and detention basin, in accordance with Coconino County requirements. Provided planting and irrigation plans.
